Mari Froes Biography and Event Details
Mari Froes is a Brazilian singer and songwriter whose music draws on contemporary Brazilian sounds and soulful, expressive vocals. Her appearance alongside Leon Bridges and El Michels Affair makes this a varied lineup, pairing Froes with artists known for their own approaches to soul and rhythm. The event listing confirms the three performers but does not specify a tour name, set order, opening acts, or individual songs.
Leon Bridges brings a modern soul sound, while El Michels Affair is known for instrumental soul and richly arranged productions. Together, the artists offer a broad musical context for Froes's performance. The event is scheduled for a single date at Madison Square Garden; no additional dates at the venue are listed.
Located above Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan, the Garden is particularly convenient for visitors arriving by train or subway. Its central location also puts the show within reach of nearby dining and other city attractions, making it easy to plan an evening around the concert.
Venue and Seating Information
Madison Square Garden has a circular, multi-level bowl with Floor, 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level seating. For concerts, floor tickets place attendees closest to the stage, though views can vary with the production setup and standing crowds. The 100 Level offers a strong balance of proximity and visibility, while the elevated 200 Level can provide a clear view of the full stage.
Lower-bowl side seats near the center of the stage and select central 200 Level sections are often appealing choices for concert sightlines. Stage arrangements vary, so check the event seating map before selecting seats; seats behind the stage or in extreme upper corners may have a less direct view. Prices currently start around $120, with popular seats and other options potentially costing $500 or more.
Parking Information
Parking around the Garden is limited, and garages can become busy on event nights. Nearby commercial garages are convenient but may cost more than facilities a short walk away. Street parking is scarce and subject to restrictions, so it is not a dependable plan for concertgoers.
- Nearby commercial garages: Garages around Penn Station and 8th Avenue are generally a short walk from the venue; event parking is approximately $30–$80, with higher prices possible during major events.
- Herald Square or Chelsea garages: Facilities about a 10–15-minute walk away may offer prices around $20–$50, depending on demand.
- Street parking: Metered spaces are limited, and Midtown restrictions make this an unreliable option.
Consider reserving a garage space in advance where available, and avoid relying on last-minute parking close to the arena. Penn Station and nearby subway connections offer practical alternatives to driving into Midtown.
